One weekend, two episodes of F-R Racing’s Garage Talk! First, in the main episode, we talk about IndyCar TV Ratings and how being banished to USA Network against NASCAR at Talladega, NBA playoffs, NHL playoffs, and even golf sunk one of IndyCar’s top events from a TV ratings standpoint. Oh and D.J. was banned from Facebook for so-called copyright violations, despite owning the music rights to the song that was claimed. We talk NASCAR at Talladega and a mannequin falling on the track at Barber in this week’s Garage Talk and Weekend Recap!
D.J. banned from Facebook, Penske DQ, IndyCar TV Ratings
Right before we hit record on today’s @frracingonline ‘s Garage Talk, D.J. discovered his personal account was banned from Facebook due to copyright infringement claims. He discusses what happened, why Facebook is wrong, and his intent to appeal. Next, we jump into the shocking news about Penske Racing’s Push To Pass controversy which resulted in the disqualification of St Petes winner Josef Newgarden, Scott McLaughlin, and a big penalty for Will Power.
Finally, we discuss the struggle with the Long Beach IndyCar TV ratings, NASCAR’s superspeedway quality of racing, and Formula 1’s Red Bull dominance. What can you do to address this?
