Introducing Showtime Esports Productions – Esports Broadcasting

Showtime Esports Productions - Esports Broadcasting

We’re thrilled to announce that F-R Racing is officially spinning off our Esports broadcasting division into a new venture, Showtime Esports Productions (SEP). This move allows us to focus more on our racing efforts and the production of F-R Racing’s Garage Talk.

Rest assured, the team (Erik, D.J., and Taka) will still be deeply involved in SEP’s day-to-day operations. We just felt that esports broadcasting had grown into such a significant part of our platform that it deserved its own standalone entity.

SEP’s 2025 Vision

Starting in 2025, when our leagues—Wednesday Night DashIndy Racing World Series, and the newly revamped F-R Racing GT Sprint Series—return, they will all be broadcast under the Showtime Esports Productions brand. Our primary goals are:

  • Elevating live esports production quality in partnership with Stadium Scene TV.
  • Recruiting broadcasters and building a bench of talent eager to develop their professional portfolios.
  • Expanding our offerings to include esports leagues outside of F-R Racing’s management.
  • Branching into new games, starting with Rocket League, beyond our current focus on iRacing.

What are you looking for in broadcasters and where can I apply?

Right now, we’re looking to grow our pool of broadcasters for iRacing. While our current leagues already have assigned broadcasters, we want to have a backup team ready to step in as needed. Additionally, we are preparing for future partnerships with external leagues, so we’re actively recruiting for those roles as well.

Requirements:

  • Broadcasters must be active members of iRacing.com and own the tracks and cars required for the leagues they broadcast.
  • A reliable internet connection is essential to ensure smooth, high-quality streaming.
  • We use OBS Studio for streaming in 1080p, so optimize your iRacing settings for a top-tier broadcast experience. We can assist you with this.
  • SEP uses ATVO for overlay software, and while experience is preferred, we encourage you to download it and give it a try if you’re unfamiliar.

This is a paid opportunity, with compensation depending on the needs of each league we work with. We aim to offer competitive pay, comparable to or better than the industry standard. Compensation details are based on a league-by-league basis.

Apply on the Showtime Esports Productions website.

When will you be Recruiting Leagues?

Our primary goal is to build our bench of broadcasters first. Once we feel we have sufficient staffing, we will begin to start providing quotes to iRacing leagues. The target is to start offering services in January of 2025. Feel free to request a quote now, but note that we may not be available to start broadcasting until January.

Where Will You Stream Your Broadcasts?

Just like our current leagues, all broadcasts will be on Stadium Scene TV’s YouTube, Twitch, and Kick channels. Stadium Scene TV currently has over 150,000 visitors a month to their website and the combination of live Esports and Sports Talk on the channel provides unique broadcasting capabilities. Your broadcast reaches a broader audience outside of the existing Esports niche. That broader audience is more appealing to sponsors over a dedicated iRacing or Esports channel.
