We Decided to Start an iRacing Team

Hi Impact!

F-R Racing is a concept that has been a dream since co-founders Erik Richardson and D.J. Fluck have been kids. Growing up in a small town in central Indiana, racing has always been a dream. Back in 2008 after a trip to Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the Indy 500, the concept of F-R Racing was born. The problem was that they had no experience in racing, no funding, and really no way to get the concept off the ground. However, in 2021 our dream had been realized because we decided to start an iRacing team.

Using our existing computers and a small investment in a racing wheel kit would allow the dream to become reality, even though it’s not quite what the duo had in mind back in 2008.

Who Are We?

D.J. Fluck

D.J. is the co-founder of F-R Racing. In addition, he is the co-founder of StadiumScene.TV and is a rising star in the world of interviewing. He lives with his wife and twin daughters just outside of Phoenix, AZ.

Erik Richardson

How is F-R Racing different?

There are millions of participants in the iRacing platform, why should you care about F-R Racing? As we said above, we are starting this team from nothing and building this from the ground up. We’ll be documenting our journey across social media, video platforms (like YouTube and Twitch), and we’ll be blogging about the different techniques and equipment that we’ll be using as we learn our way through the program.

If you want to start an iRacing Team then you’ll want to follow our journey so we can show you the right and wrong ways to go about doing it. It’s going to be pretty ugly early on, but we’re willing to put ourselves out there to show you how to do it.

What will we do for you?

It’s pretty simple. We’re going to do the dirty work of figuring out how to build an iRacing team from very little funding and we’re going to document the process. Our expectation is that our blog and social media will become the gold standard for building an iRacing team.

How can we support your iRacing Team?

Your support is how we’ll make this journey work. That can be done through the following:
