Over the weekend, iRacing ran the 2023 iRacing Petit Le Mans from Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta and F-R Racing submitted a last second entry into the LMP2 class featuring Wednesday Night Dash drivers Hunter Hughes, Mark Vicars, Ian Miller, along with Erik Richardson. Overall the event was a success with a P10 class finish and a P16 finish (of 38) overall. We’ll break down the results in next week’s episode
Previewing the iRacing Petit Le Mans and NASCAR at Talladega
Erik and D.J. are airing this episode at an earlier time this week due to the iRacing Petit Le Mans starting at 6:30 p.m. Eastern time on @stadiumscene. The live broadcast will run from 6:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. (as long as the team is still in the race. We spend the bulk of the time talking about the event, competing in the LMP2 class for the first time, and what to expect having to deal with the slower GT3 class of cars.
We close out the show talking about the NASCAR weekend in Talladega, Kevin Harvick’s unfortunate disqualification, and predicting who will end up as the four drivers in the Championship Race at Phoenix in November.
