Wednesday Night Dash Recap

Time for a 2023 Wednesday Night Dash recap! Erik and D.J. look back at the highs and many lows of the 2023 season (Cup, GT3, ARCA) and the struggles faced during the last 10 races in the ARCA cars. D.J. talks about the decision he made that turned his season around.

Wednesday Night Dash Recap, iRacing Improvements, NASCAR at Miami and F1 in Austin

Erik and D.J. are back this week to close out the 2023 Wednesday Night Dash season with a year-in-review discussion of the ARCA league. We talked about the many lows and how one coaching session with iRacing ARCA Legend, Justin Yee ( @DJYeeJay ) turned D.J.’s season around and gave him a lot of confidence moving forward.

Before getting into that season, D.J. discusses why his current state as a hockey fan is “Arizona Coyotes Apologist” and why he is on board with why they should remain in the Phoenix market and can be successful in the Phoenix market. We also throw back to some old IRL discussion from the late 90s including Greg Ray winning at Atlanta Motor Speedway and A.J. Foyt backhanding Arie Luyendyk Sr at a night race in Texas in 1997.

We close out the show talking about the upcoming weekend of NASCAR at Miami Homestead Speedway and Formula 1 coming back to the states for the second of three trips.
