Our favorite race weekend of the year is here! We have not only the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix, NASCAR’s Coca-Cola 600, but our favorite race, the 2024 Indy 500! We kick off the show this week by talking about D.J. making his debut as an oval broadcaster on Wednesday Night Dash and a quick discussion about the Monaco Grand Prix and the Coca-Cola 600.
D.J.’s Oval Broadcasting Debut, 2024 Indy 500 Preview, Traditions, and Trivia
On this week’s edition of Wednesday Night Dash, D.J. stepped out of the truck for the New Hampshire race and stepped into the broadcast booth for the first time. D.J. talks about how it was getting to live a childhood dream of being a sports play-by-play broadcaster, how long time Indiana Pacers radio play-by-play announcer Mark Boyle played his inspiration from childhood, and why it’s so darn hard to break into the business.
The rest of the show is focused on this weekend’s Indianapolis 500 race. Focusing on the event itself, traditions, and even some trivia.

Most events will be a 15-minute open qualification with a 45-minute sprint session. The events are broadcast on Stadium Scene TV, but are more of a casual environment and will not be scored as an official league.
