2024 NASCAR Playoffs are Here, iRacing 2024 Season 4 Updates
The NASCAR Playoffs are here whether you like it or not! We look at the 16 drivers in the Cup Series playoffs and discuss can any of the long shots make it beyond the first cut? The 2025 NASCAR Cup, Xfinity, and Truck Series schedules have been released including a return to a classic North Carolina track and a surprising but welcome new addition to the Craftsman Truck Series schedule.
We touch on the Milwaukee double race for IndyCar and if the races were good or not. We talk Josef Newgarden’s rough weekend and a surprise high-profile name in the racing world shared he has a copy of Andy Amendola’s new Josef Newgarden book.
With no league racing this week, we spend our iRacing segment talking about the new updates in Season 4. We talked about the new content and the changes to both the IR-18 IndyCar and the NASCAR Xfinity Series car (which may impact next week’s race at Circuit of the Americas). In addition, we took Legends cars out at Southern National for an unofficial event. How did that go? Watch and find out.

F-R Racing’s GT Sprint Series
We run a monthly community race in preparation for the various iRacing official events. Stay tuned for the publishing of the final schedule, but the next event will be on May 11th. Most events will be a 15-minute open qualification with a 45-minute sprint session (some are 90 minutes). The events are broadcast on Stadium Scene TV, but are more of a casual environment and will not be scored as an official league.
