For 2025, we’re changing up the format of our weekly digest blog post, just a bit. We’re going to be sending out a weekly email on Monday morning highlighting this blog post as we continue to expand our reach and spread the word of what we’re doing. This week we’re talking about the 2025 season premiere of F-R Racing’s Garage Talk (links below) and Wednesday Night Dash iRacing Cup Series visiting Kansas Speedway.

F-R Racing’s Garage Talk 2025 Season Premiere
We are excited to be back for our season premiere of F-R Racing’s Garage Talk here in 2025. While the racing hasn’t kicked off, there’s a lot of news in the world of motorsports to discuss. First, we kick off the season discussing news in the world of IndyCar including driver changes, the Josef Newgarden commercial that’s the talk of the town, and Andy Amendola’s @redracerbooks cameo during the commercial.
Next, we discuss getting used to Lewis Hamilton in a Ferrari, Jack Doohan’s short contract with Alpine, and more! We discuss the death of the iconic and legendary Bob Uecker who inspired anyone in both broadcasting and comedy. We discuss his impact on the game of baseball, Miller Lite, and how he is a major part of why Major League was such an iconic movie.
Finally, we discuss random stories and the iRacing Daytona 24 issues. The star of the show was the combination of the rains for a majority of the event along with the new iRacing dynamic debris system. It led to a lot of chaos on the track.

Race: iRacing Daytona 24
Results: Erik Richardson, Hunter Hughes, Ian Miller and Tyler Vickery ran in the GTP/Hypercar class for the first time in the Ferrari 499P. The real star of the show was the rain and the new dynamic track debris system that created chaos all over the track. Numerous accidents led to a P9 in class (of 21) and P33 overall (of 58). We look to bounce back stronger at Sebring in March.
