Oh boy there is a lot to talk about with the iRacing 2025 Season 3 updates! New cars, new tracks, refreshed tracks, and massive file sizes! Some people were pushing 100 GB with this update. We review the changes, how our races have been going, and the latest from the world of motorsports in this week’s Insider.
Also thank you to all who have contributed to our Streamers Against Suicide fundraiser for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. iRacing 2025 Season 3 Release, NASCAR & F1 Updates | Garage Talk
On today’s episode of F-R Racing’s Garage Talk, we’ve been largely ignoring the simulated part of motorsports the last several episodes, so we take time today to go through the latest updates during the iRacing 2025 Season 3 update package! New cars, new tracks, updated artwork, and a gigantic file size!
On the second half of the show, we discuss the NASCAR race at Gateway with Denny Hamlin winning. D.J. puts on his tin foil hat and questions why did the broadcast feed cut out right before Denny Hamlin crossed the line and was it related to the fact Denny’s lawsuit against NASCAR is getting really ugly? We discuss.
Finally, Max Verstappen returns to the top step of the podium and McLaren are dealing with team orders. While McLaren have more or less clinched the Constructors Championship already, the battle for the Driver championship rages on with drama.
Be sure to support our mission at **Stadium Scene TV** this month as we participate in **Streamers Against Suicide**, raising funds for the **American Foundation for Suicide Prevention**. We’ve already raised $150 towards our $500 goal! Learn more and donate here.

Recent Race Results
Race: iRacing Daytona 24
Results: Erik Richardson, Hunter Hughes, Ian Miller, and Tyler Vickery ran in the GTP/Hypercar class for the first time in the Ferrari 499P. The real stars of the show was the rain and the new dynamic track debris system that created chaos all over the track. Numerous accidents led to a P9 in class (of 21) and P33 overall (of 58). We look to bounce back stronger at Sebring in March.
