iRacing Intentional Wrecking – GT Podcast

F-R Racing's Garage Talk Logo

Erik and D.J. are back with another F-R Racing’s Garage Talk episode. In this week’s episode, we talk about Erik having to file his first protest against another driver for intentional wrecking on the iRacing platform. We’ll post the video once the protest is resolved, but it’s obvious this person was just there to ruin the session. We discuss what drives people to pay money to get onto a service only to ruin it for others and get banned without a refund. We also talk about Erik’s upcoming trip to Iowa Speedway for the IndyCar race.

iRacing Intentional Wrecking, Wednesday Night Dash Preview, IndyCar at Iowa

Erik and D.J. are back and talk about the Wednesday Night Dash exhibition race at Auto Club Speedway and hype the upcoming season in the ARCA Menards cars (see below for a link to join the league). We also unveil the new play-by-play announcer and it’s someone you already know if you’ve ever watched Wednesday Night Dash!

During the segment, we talk about Erik having to protest someone on iRacing for the very first time and we discuss what on earth drives someone to pay money to come onto a service like iRacing or any other game just to ruin it for everyone else and only to be eventually banned from the service without a refund.

Next, we move on and talk about the IndyCar race at Toronto on Peacock only and discuss does Romain Grosjean have the yips? Does Andretti clear house? What do we think of Colton Herta’s performances so far this season?

Finally, we close out by talking briefly about the NASCAR race on Monday at New Hampshire and talk about Erik’s upcoming trip to Iowa Speedway for the IndyCar race. IndyCar seems to have the most success at tracks where they have a festival-type atmosphere or a big weekend of racing (Long Beach, Indy Double).
