IMS Museum Remodel – GT Podcast

D.J. and Erik are back with a packed week of news first off starting with the shock return of Daniel Ricciardo to the Formula 1 grid, a long overdue announcement for an IMS Museum Remodel (Indianapolis Motor Speedway), and a rain-shortened NASCAR Cup Series race in Atlanta.

Changes in F1, IMS Museum, IndyCar on Peacock, NASCAR in ATL

Erik and D.J. are back with a lot to talk about this week! First, Formula 1 has a familiar face returning to the grid after a driver was unceremoniously fired after ten races. We talk about McLaren’s significant improvement, Alex Albon overachieving at Williams, and why does Checo keep having bad qualification runs? Is he being sabotaged by his crew? Put on your tin foil hats!

Next, we talk about IndyCar going Peacock only once again for the Toronto race and if that’s really even a good idea. NASCAR at Chicago had a “great” showing on Peacock, but it would be absolutely abysmal if we only had 160,000 people watching an IndyCar race.

Next, Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum had a significant announcement this week involving a major renovation. Both of us have been to the museum multiple times over the years and share our thoughts on how magical of a place it is.

Finally, we talk about the rain-shortened Atlanta race and how great the Xfinity race was this weekend.
