In this week’s F-R Racing’s Garage Talk update, we talk about D.J.’s trip to Phoenix Raceway for the Spring 2024 NASCAR races. In addition, we talk about Erik coming up just short during the iRacing Indy Racing World Series event at Homestead Miami Speedway, and of course this week in Formula 1 off-track drama.
D.J.’s Phoenix Raceway Visit NASCAR, Boring Racing, and More F1 Off-Track Drama
D.J. visited Phoenix Raceway last weekend for the spring Xfinity race, visited the garages, ran into Brad Keselowski, and saw Josh Berry’s qualifying wreck up close. How was the overall experience? Watch and find out.
Next, we move on and re-cap the weekend in racing, where the highlights were pretty limited outside of Ollie Bearman’s impressive debut for Ferrari (and having to return to school on Monday). We also look into the fan’s calls to move Championship weekend away from Phoenix Raceway, but what are reasonably the options to host a race in early to mid-November? We discuss.
Finally, Erik came close to winning at Homestead during the Indy Racing World Series. We break down his final lap heartbreak and D.J.’s self-spin that cost him a chance at the win. We also break down Wednesday Night Dash at Dover and leading up to the finale.

Weekend Recap Show
The star of the NASCAR Cup Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway today was the tires! Tires were going bad after 50 laps, NASCAR had to approve an extra set for teams, and teams were still concerned they would not have enough to get to the end! We discuss in this week’s Weekend Recap.
