In this week’s F-R Racing Insider, we look back at the week of iRacing at Richmond Raceway for the Indy Racing World Series, and a great race at Nashville Superspeedway for Wednesday Night Dash. On F-R Racing’s Garage Talk we sit down with teammate, Nick Warboy as he shares his sim racing story including pedals breaking mid-race leading to an impromptu iRacing Xbox Controller adventure.
Using a Thrustmaster T150 and 2025 NASCAR Championship 4 Predictions with Nick Warboy
Erik and D.J. are joined this week by their Wednesday Night Dash teammate, Nick Warboy. Nick has been on the iRacing platform for a couple of years armed with his Thurstmaster T150 racing wheel and he shares his story along with some NASCAR Championship 4 predictions.
First up, we introduce Nick Warboy to the audience and how he’s had success on the iRacing platform still using his introductory Thurstmaster T150 racing wheel. He shares a story about how when the pedal set broke during a race at Martinsville and having to finish the race with an Xbox controller. In the second half of the show, we discuss building a league and attracting the type of drivers you want to come back to your league season after season, and experience driving in other leagues.
Finally, we preview the Daytona 500, talk about the entries including the special provision that will guarantee a spot in the field for Helio Castroneves, and we make our Championship 4 predictions. Be sure to follow Nick on Instagram: https://instagram.com/warboy98

Recent Race Results
Race: iRacing Daytona 24
Results: Erik Richardson, Hunter Hughes, Ian Miller, and Tyler Vickery ran in the GTP/Hypercar class for the first time in the Ferrari 499P. The real stars of the show was the rain and the new dynamic track debris system that created chaos all over the track. Numerous accidents led to a P9 in class (of 21) and P33 overall (of 58). We look to bounce back stronger at Sebring in March.
