We’re Back From Break – F-R Racing Insider

We're Back From Break!

We’re back from break! Erik has nearly finished his move to Florida so it’s time to get back into our regular schedule of weekly episode of Garage Talk. This week we talk about what we missed while on break, a new segment on the show based on Erik’s new bio of being “Florida Man”, and the return of the iRacing Indy Racing World Series!

Thank you to everyone who entered our contest and congratulations to John Jarvis, winner of the autographed William Byron diecast!

Return From Summer Break, Max Verstappen Rumors – F-R Racing’s Garage Talk

We are finally back from our summer break! Erik is (mostly) moved in to his new place in Florida and we catch up on what we missed the last few weeks. We also introduce a new segment, Florida Man vs Arizona Man.

First, we check in with Erik and see how his move to Florida is going and discuss when we’ll see his return back to league racing. As a result of Erik being in Florida and D.J. in Arizona, we introduce our new segment “Florida Man vs Arizona Man”. In this week’s story Erik talks about a man posing as a flight attendant and getting free flights and D.J. talks about a serial fan interference offender at Diamondbacks games. Which is the crazier story? Let us know in the comments!

Finally, we move on and catch up on all the racing that we missed over the last few weeks from Mexico City, the long hauler trip to and from, Pocono, and the exciting finish of Atlanta. IndyCar returns this week and we touch on F1 in Austria and will Max Verstappen head to Mercedes next year?

Recent Race Results

Race: iRacing Daytona 24

Results: Erik Richardson, Hunter Hughes, Ian Miller, and Tyler Vickery ran in the GTP/Hypercar class for the first time in the Ferrari 499P. The real stars of the show was the rain and the new dynamic track debris system that created chaos all over the track. Numerous accidents led to a P9 in class (of 21) and P33 overall (of 58). We look to bounce back stronger at Sebring in March.
